  • Is it comfortable?
Yes, we have the most comfortable AND the safest harnesses ever designed for Parasailing! We are the only company in the world to use these custom specially built harnesses and this is one reason our rides last twice as long as other companies. Their harnesses are simply too uncomfortable to sit in for more than a few minutes!
  • Do we need to make reservations?
Yes, because of our popularity and limited space, reservations are highly recommended. We also encourage you to plan parasailing for the first part of your vacation. That way, if the weather does not cooperate you will have other opportunities to fly. We take phone reservations up to 30 days in advance and will need a MasterCard, Visa or Discover card to secure your spot(s).
  • What are your cancellation and refund policies?

Yes, we offer double (tandem) flights. The maximum combined weight is 400 lbs., however, we can not guarantee a tandem flight every trip, it is up to the captain’s discretion to decide whether the flight is possible. Weather conditions are the determining factor. (See next question)
  • Can I be guaranteed to go up Tandem (double)?
NO, THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES. Tandem flights are dependent on weight loads and wind speeds. You should be prepared to fly in the manner the captain deems the safest. That being said, if we have the right conditions you are encouraged to share your parasailing experience with a family member or friend.
  • Will my family be able to see me from shore?
This depends on our wind direction. Please ask when you arrive for your reservation and we will be able to say if you can be seen from shore.
  • How long does the trip last?
The entire trip usually lasts 60-90 minutes (up to six flyers per trip) which includes the boat ride out, your flight, and getting you back to shore.
  • How old do I need to be to fly?
We do not have an age limit, rather a weight minimum of 65 pounds. Guests 17-years-old or younger must have an adult sign them in.
  • Is there a weight restriction?
To fly at all you must weigh at least 65 lbs. (90 lbs. for the high ride). Max single weight is 280 lbs. Max tandem/double combined weight is 400 lbs. Again, this all can vary according to weather conditions.
  • Can a minor go up by themselves?
Yes, if the minor weighs at least 65 lbs. However, an adult needs to be present at check-in to sign a release for anyone 17-years-old or younger.
  • Do I need prior experience?
Prior experience is not necessary. The captain and crew do all the work for you. You just have to come prepared to have a good time! No prior skill or physical ability of any kind needed. With our custom designed – one-of-a-kind harness you do not need to know how to swim, steer, or do anything – simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride! View gorgeous Door County from a bird’s eye view!
  • What if I change my mind when I’m already on the boat?
Of course you may change your mind but you will not be refunded due to our 48 hour cancellation policy. That being said, this rarely happens.
  • Can I go on the boat to watch but not necessarily go up?
We do not take observer reservations. Right before departure IF there is room on the boat we will welcome you on the boat as an observer. The cost for that is $40. If you change your mind while on the boat and decide to fly, the $40 charge is then applied to the cost of parasailing.
  • What should I wear?
You can come dressed as you are right now. Since you won’t get wet, unless you want to, dress for the weather that day.
  • Can I take my camera up with me?
You are allowed to take a camera/iphone etc. up at YOUR OWN RISK, and should take into consideration the height and water risks of dropping something of value. Cameras with straps are better options. We also offer a waterproof phone bag to rent for $5 or to buy for $10.
